One year removed from the Raptors’ and Canada’s first NBA Championship, join Maccabi Canada as we welcome Canada Basketball’s Glen Grunwald and Rowan Barrett.

Glen Grunwald currently serves the President and CEO of Canada Basketball, playing a critical role in the expansion of the game across Canada. Prior to joining Canada Basketball, Grunwald served as the General Manager of the Toronto Raptors and the New York Knicks. Under Grunwald, the Raptors qualified for the playoffs three times and advanced to the conference semi-finals once. Orchestrating one of the most memorable trades in team history, Grunwald was responsible for the Raptors acquiring Vince Carter during the 1998 NBA Draft.

Rowan Barrett currently serves as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Canada Basketball. Undrafted into the NBA, Barrett was a member of both the Raptors and 76ers organizations before taking his career overseas, playing in Spain, Argentina, Venezuela, Cyprus, Greece, France, Italy and Israel. While in Israel, Barrett players for Maccabi Rishon LeZion, Hapoel Haifa and Ramat Hasharon. A proud Canadian, Barrett played on Team Canada at multiple FIBA World Championships, Pan American Games as well as the 2000 Summer Olympic Games.
